About Redemption Bible Church - Coolidge, AZ

Gospel-First & Gospel-Active
Redemption Bible Church was founded on the belief that Jesus Christ is the head of the church and that the Gospel alone builds the church. All true preaching either points towards the Gospel, laying the groundwork for people to receive Christ, or it proclaims those things that flow from the Gospel as a benefit of the cross.

Door-to-Door Gospel Outreach
We are striving to be the most Gospel-active church in Coolidge. We hope that our efforts do not simply benefit our congregation but also other churches in the Coolidge area. In 2025 alone, we reached 13,000+ people in Coolidge with a Gospel trifold. We are hoping to deliver another trifold by July/August this year (2025) and this time we intend to include the names of other local churches in the trifold. Below is the next trifold scheduled to go out.

Want to help us?
Each trifold costs about $1,600 to print and deliver to 4,500 homes in Coolidge (about 13,000+ people). We will ensure that 100 percent of all gospel donations go towards gospel literature outreach efforts.

Common Q&As

Q. What kind of church is Redemption Bible Church?
We are an Evangelical church. People from our circles include and have included Billy Graham, Mark Dever, Matt Chandler, and David Jeremiah.

Q. Who gets to serve at Redemption Bible Church?
Everyone gets to serve.* We need more people with music talent, people with formal training to teach children, people who want to do street evangelism, people who want to put invitations and evangelism materials on doors, people who want to facilitate fellowship, people who want to set up meet-and-greet booths at public events (fairs, 4th of July, farmers markets, etc.), people who want to open their homes for small group studies, people who want to lead men's/women's activities/studies/fellowship, people to organize camping events, people who want to help us improve our church facility, people who want to design and beautify, people who want to watch children, and people who want to visit the homebound. Basically, if you can think of a ministry we should be doing, we need you.

*Of course, working with children requires a background check and personal references.

Q. Do you recommend other churches in Coolidge?
Here's our top four list of churches, besides us, to check out in Coolidge:*

*There likely are other sound churches in Coolidge that we have not listed.

Q. What version of the Bible do you recommend?
A. For younger readers and new believers, we highly recommend the NIV. For most adult believers, we recommend the ESV. And for academic study of the Bible, we recommend the NASB. We read the ESV for our services.

Q. Are small children allowed to be in the service with me?
A. Absolutely. This is encouraged but not required. If your children find it too difficult to sit through the entire service, we have a family room where you can let your small children play while you listen to the sermon.

Q. Are you an expository sermon preaching church?
A. Yes. The truths we preach come from the Scriptures themselves.

Q. How long are your services?
A. Our average service time is about 1 hour.

Q. Who teaches for the main service?
A. RBC only has teachers and pastors who have been formally trained either by churches, ministries, colleges, or seminaries. These pastors and teachers have been affirmed by the congregation who have seen these individuals walking with the Lord faithfully for years, affirmed their calling to ministry, affirmed their soundness of doctrine, and affirmed their ability to teach. When guest pastors and teachers come, these pastors and teachers also meet the requirements above.

Q. Who is allowed to take communion at your church?
A. It is our position that all who are old enough to make a credible profession of faith and have been baptized in any Christian church as part of that profession may participate in communion with us.

Childhood & Past Career
Greg grew up in Bloomington, Minnesota. Most of his childhood was spent living on a missionary training center called Bethany Fellowship where his family was deeply involved in Bethany House Publishers. In the mid-1990s, Greg was an early "dot-com" pioneer. In 2000, Greg and his family moved to Clearwater, Florida where he worked for the TV industry. Greg and his family have lived in Coolidge since 2007.

Life Trials & Compassion Ministry
Greg understands compassion. He is a chronic pain patient having suffered with scoliosis from childhood and presently has a degenerative spinal disc disorder which has led to several spinal surgeries. As a result he has devoted years to studying and teaching on the Christian's hope through suffering and demonstrating compassion through hospital, hospice, and home visitation towards those who are weak, suffering, and dying.

Despite being a chronic pain patient, Greg enjoys hiking (often just for pain management) and fishing. Most of all, he enjoys spending hours deeply studying God's word and preparing lessons for the benefit of the church.
